Cookie Policy
Last Revised: FEBRUARY 26, 2026
01. Introduction
This Cookie Policy describes the types of cookies and similar tracking technologies that ShouldEye Trust Systems LLC ("ShouldEye", "we", "our", "us") uses when you visit or interact with ShouldEye.com and our related services ("Services"), and how you can manage them.
This Cookie Policy does not address how we process your personal information outside of our use of cookies. To learn more about how we process your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.
By continuing to use our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Cookie Policy. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.
02. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They help the website recognize your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, login status, and other settings. This can make your next visit easier and the site more useful to you.
We also use similar technologies, including:
Pixels and Web Beacons: Small, transparent image files embedded in web pages or emails that track whether a page or email has been viewed.
Local Storage: Data stored in your browser that persists across sessions, used to remember preferences and settings.
Session Storage: Temporary data stored in your browser that is cleared when you close the tab or window.
For simplicity, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as "cookies" in this policy.
03. First-Party vs. Third-Party Cookies
Cookies can be categorized based on who sets them:
First-Party Cookies: Set directly by ShouldEye (i.e., from the shouldeye.com domain). These are used for core functionality, authentication, and remembering your preferences.
Third-Party Cookies: Set by external services that we integrate with (e.g., analytics providers, payment processors, security services). These cookies originate from a domain different from shouldeye.com and are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy.
04. Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of our Services. Without them, core functionality such as authentication, security, and navigation would not work. These cookies cannot be disabled without impairing the Services.

05. Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how our Services perform and how users interact with them. This data is used to improve the performance and usability of our Services.
Analytics cookies are only placed with your consent where required by law.

07. Marketing & Performance Cookies
ShouldEye does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising or retargeting. We do not sell data collected through cookies.
If we introduce marketing cookies in the future, we will:
Update this Cookie Policy to disclose the specific cookies used, their sources, and their purposes.
Obtain your explicit consent before placing any marketing cookies on your device, where required by applicable law.
Provide you with a clear and easy mechanism to opt out of marketing cookies at any time.
We may use anonymized, aggregated analytics data to measure the general effectiveness of our communications (e.g., email open rates), but this does not involve placing marketing cookies on your device.
08. Cookie Duration
Cookies can be classified by how long they persist on your device:
Session Cookies: Temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. These are used for tasks like maintaining your login state during a single browsing session.
Persistent Cookies: Cookies that remain on your device for a set period of time (or until you manually delete them). These are used for tasks like remembering your preferences across visits.
The specific duration of each cookie is listed in the tables above. We review cookie durations regularly and limit them to what is reasonably necessary for their stated purpose.
09. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You have several options for managing cookies:
Cookie Consent Banner: When you first visit our Services (where required by applicable law), we display a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by accessing the cookie settings link in the footer of our website.
Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically set your browser to block or delete cookies, or to alert you when a cookie is being placed. The following links provide instructions for common browsers:
Opt-Out Tools: You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Please note that disabling or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of our Services. Cookies listed as "Necessary" are required for the Services to function and cannot be disabled without impairing core features.
Cookie settings are device- and browser-specific, so you will need to set your preferences for each device and browser you use.
10. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals to websites. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how companies should respond to DNT signals.
ShouldEye does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, we do not engage in cross-site tracking or sell personal data, and we provide you with direct controls over your cookie and privacy preferences as described in this policy.
If a universal DNT standard is adopted in the future, we will update our practices accordingly.
11. Cookies and International Users
We comply with applicable cookie and privacy laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including:
European Union / EEA: We comply with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and GDPR. Non-essential cookies are only placed with your prior consent.
United Kingdom: We comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
California, USA: We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information collected through cookies. We do not sell personal data.
Brazil: We comply with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD).
Where local law provides stronger protections than those described here, the local law prevails.
12. Third-Party Websites
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by ShouldEye. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the cookie practices or privacy policies of any third-party sites or services.
We encourage you to review the cookie and privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.
